What Can Web 2.0 Do For You?
Web 2.0 Tools are among the 21st century technology tools based on the idea of communication and collaboration. These tools include blogs, podcasting, widgets, interactive documents, wikis and other emerging tools. A good source of reading can be found at Scribd, an online community. A wiki, one of the more known tools, allows users to freely create and edit web page content using any web browser. This wiki will be used to share online tools that can be used in the classroom. The intent is to provide links to the tools, strategies for using them and samples that could be possibly used in the classroom.
This site is designed not only toshare but tocollaborate with teachers wishing to provide resources used to integrate technology into the curriculum. Create a new page and upload your content or if you should decide to download and use the documents, please comment on your successes and limitations.
"Users add Value". Looking forward to collaborating with you on the wiki!

Gail:
I am looking forward to Skyping with you tomorrow. I am wondering what type of puzzle games that a primary school could use to compete against eachother. Jenita is doing a Promethean board training at our school tomorrow but I will be able to talk with y'all some.

Hi Debby, had problems connecting to the internet. I am ready with the first problem. Let's discuss a date and time for skyping it to students.

Gail, I'm really interested in coordinating technology into my every day routine for students. Any information you can share with me about ways to do that will be great! I have very much enjoyed the information you have shared with us so far, and I see ways that I can start doing more in my room. I think so many of us are afraid to step into unknown territory, but I'm READY!!!! I want kids to be excited about learning and ready to come back the next day because they don't know what's going to happen!

Miriam, You might be interested in exploring google lit trips . . . Check out the google lit trip link on the side bar. . . I have uploaded directions for creating the trip. I think it will be easy enough for students to follow.
